When is the PGA Tour 2024?
The 2023 PGA tournament had its day, and golf fanatics everywhere are itching for the next one to begin.
And we’ve got good news. It’s right around the corner!
The January-September PGA fixtures have already been released, and in this article, we’ll cover all the important dates you need to know for the upcoming tournament.
January
The tournament kicks off with The Sentry on the 4th of January, at the Plantation Course in Kapalua, Hawaii, and runs up until the 7th.
From the 11th to the 14th, the Sony Open in Hawaii will take place at the Waialae Country Club.
Later in the month, The American Express event in California will take you from the 18th to the 21st, and the Farmers Insurance Open, also in California, from the 24th to the 27th.
And that concludes the January fixtures!
February
February starts with the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on the 1st, running until the 4th, at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California.
The WM Phoenix Open takes place four days later, on the 8th-11th of February in Scottsdale, Arizona, before The Genesis Invitational at The Riviera Country Club in California on the 15th-18th of February.
On the 22nd, the Mexico Open at Vidanta takes place in Vallarta, Mexico, and runs for three days until the 25th.
The final stop is in Palm Beach Gardens in Florida, where the Cognizant Classic will begin on the 29th and lead us into early March, ending on the 3rd.
March
The third month of the tournament continues on the 7th, with the Puerto Rico Open at the Grand Reserve Golf Club running until the 10th.
Also on the 7th-10th of March is the Arnold Palmer Invitational, to be presented by Mastercard, at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando, Florida.
Then, on the 14th-17th is THE PLAYERS Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Four days later on the 21st, the Valspar Championship will be held at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbour Florida, and will be played until the 24th.
Finally, the Texas Children’s Housten Open will be played at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas from the 28th until the 31st of March.
April
From the 4th to the 7th of April, players will take on the Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio in Texas, before the Masters Tournament (the first major PGA event) takes place at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia and is played from the 11th-14th.
This event is followed by the RBC Heritage event, scheduled for the 18th to the 21st at Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina.
Finally, from the 25th to the 28th, players will participate in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in Avondale, Louisiana.
May
On the 2nd of May, The CJ Cup Byron Nelson event starts and runs up until the 5th – held at the TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas.
Four days later, the Myrtle Beach Classic begins, at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club in South Carolina. This event ends on the 12th.
Also on the 9th-12th of May is the Wells Fargo Championship, which is to be held at the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Next up is the PGA Championship on the 16th-19th, at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
On the 23rd to the 26th, the Charles Schwab Challenge kicks off at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth Texas, followed by the RBC Canadian Open, which starts on the 30th of May and ends on the 2nd of June, held at the Hamilton Golf & Country Club in Ontario, Canada.
June
On the 6th to the 9th of June, the Memorial Tournament, presented by Workday, will take place at the Muirfield Village Gold Club in Dublin, Ohio.
Next, players will take on the Pinehurst Resort & Country Club in North Carolina on the 13th-16th, before moving on to the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Connecticut on the 20th-23rd.
The month comes to a close with the Rocket Mortgage Classic at the Detroit Golf Club in Michigan from the 27th to the 30th of June.
July
The John Deere Classic at TPC Deer Run in Illinois kickstarts July and runs from the 4th until the 7th.
Six days later on the 11th, the Genesis Scottish Open begins at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, ending on the 14th.
The Barracuda Championship follows on the 18th at Tahoe Mountain Club in Truckee, California, running until the 21st.
Also on the 18th-21st is The Open Championship, which will take place in South Ayrshire, Scotland at the Royal Troon.
The final event in July (the 3M Open) takes place on the 25th-28th at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.
August – September
On the 1st-4th of August, the Olympic Men’s Golf Competition will be held at Le Golf National in Paris, France. Followed by the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina from the 8th-11th.
From August 15th to the 18th, the FedEx St. Jude Championship begins in Memphis, before the BMW Championship on the 22nd to the 25th, which will be held at the Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colorado.
The final event listed on PGA’s website is the TOUR Championship, which will start on the 29th of August and end on the 1st of September – taking place at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.
Play along with the professionals this golf season
Golf simulators were a hot topic during the 2022-23 season, and this looks set to remain in the upcoming PGA Tour.
